TeacherTool 1.0 is a freeware that allows students or teachers to calculate one or a series of scores keeping track of the class average as well as the number of A's, B's, C's, D's and F's. The software features a customizable grading scale and calculates either by number missed or number correct.

To use, simply type the total into the Total Points data field and then keep typing the number correct and hitting enter. The software takes care of the rest.

The software has a grading scale built into it, but these values can be changed by clicking on the "Grading Scale" Disclosure Triangle.

If you want to keep typing in the number correct rather than the number missed, simply click on the "Use Number Correct" Check Box. The software will ignore any values in the number missed field.

For the most part, this software was written at 2:00 in the morning a few nights before my wedding. I could not sleep and so I decided to attempt to figure out how to write preferences in RealBasic 3. I needed a project to focus on to meet my objective. The result is TeacherTool 1.0. I am sure there are other programs out there that might do exactly the same thing, but since I did take the time to write it - I am making it available for free. If you enjoy it or hate it, send me an e-mail and let me know what you like or dislike.

Thanks,

Travis East
